GFX History

   The first question that is usually asked about GFX is, "What do the letters GFX stand for?" GFX stands for; Gerard Forsman Explorations. I know what you're thinking, but, GFE just didn't have the same punch as GFX. After all, when someone finds an old map to a lost gold mine, X marks the spot!

   GFX was started in 1980 as a way to market products to the public after being created and tested in the field for mining purposes. Nothing big, just those little things that seemed to work and make life a little easier. Since Portland, Oregon is the home of GFX, D&K Detector Sales, Inc. was the logical choice to market any products or ideas. (A superior sales force without the overhead).

   GFX is now taking a new path with the acquisition of the Osceola, Colorado, and Yellow Jacket mines in Alleghany, California. New products from the mines are already on the drawing boards. Check back periodically for more developments.
