Forest City, California

Here are a few pictures of Forest City, California, Alleghany's neighbor to the north... on the other side of the hill. Most of the local people leave off the "City" part and just call the town Forest. Here, too, a lot of gold was mined from both veins and ancient tertiary gravel.
