A concrete gutter is now in place to handle the mine water from the Osceola tunnel. The water is directed into a pit and then dissipates into the ground. Mark is rebuilding the rail coming out of the portal so that it turns at an even rate. The muck coming out of the Osceola will then be dumped into a holding pit where the loader can then deal with it. At some point in the future, a concrete pad should be poured between the gutter, the rail and the concrete pad at the bottom of the picture.
All of the flooding, debris and ruined equipment from the pond breach has been a setback for the Osceola tunnel rehab project.
