If you should happen to find yourself motoring down Hwy 49, between North San Juan and Nevada City, you'll see a sign pointing towards the historic landmark of French Corral. The Wells Fargo Express Office is a great remnant of the California Gold Rush. From the sign that is attached to the building, It looks like it was built in 1853.
