   Approximately 1500 feet from the Yellow Jacket Portal, this cave-in was encountered. A rough estimate was made that there is a raise going up to the left at this point. It's possible, that an ore chute was left full of ore and the weight was to much for the aging timbers. Or, the quartz vein was composed of very fractured quartz and over fifty years, (one rock at a time), you would get the result that is seen here. Behind this wall of quartz is an 8 foot deep, tunnel full of water.

   On a lighter note: Can you spot, what looks like someone's face, in the pile of rocks?
